General Terms and Conditions

Article 1 – Definitions

1. Service Provider: vanswietenevents, located at van Brakelstraat 47, 2518vv Den Haag, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 98078461.

2. Client: The natural or legal person who enters into an agreement with the Service Provider for organizing an event.

3. Event: Any event, party, conference, training, reception, or other activity organized by the Service Provider on behalf of the Client.

Article 2 – Applicability

1. These general terms and conditions apply to all quotations, agreements, and services provided by the Service Provider, unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.

2. General terms and conditions of the Client shall not apply unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.

Article 3 – Quotations and Agreements

1. All quotations are non-binding and valid for 14 days, unless otherwise stated.

2. An agreement is concluded upon written confirmation by the Client or upon execution of the agreed services by the Service Provider.

Article 4 – Payment

1. Payment must be made within 14 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed.

2. If payment is not made on time, the Client shall automatically be in default and the Service Provider reserves the right to charge interest and collection costs.

Article 5 – Cancellation

1. Cancellation of the event by the Client must be made in writing.

2. In the event of cancellation, the Client remains liable for costs incurred and/or a cancellation fee as agreed in the quotation or agreement.

Article 6 – Liability

1. The Service Provider is only liable for direct damage caused by gross negligence or intent.

2. The Service Provider is never liable for indirect damage, loss of profit, or consequential damage.

Article 7 – Force Majeure

1. The Service Provider is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government measures.

Article 8 – Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

1. These general terms and conditions are governed by the laws of The Netherlands.

2. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions or agreements shall be submitted to the competent court in The Hague, unless parties agree otherwise in writing.
